These Terms of Service govern your use of the KODA application and website (trykoda.co.uk), operated by TRYKODA LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17265721). By creating an account or using KODA, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use KODA.
KODA is an AI-powered meal planning and nutrition tracking application. KODA provides:
- AI-generated weekly meal plans personalised to your goals and pantry
- Macro and nutrition tracking
- Receipt and barcode scanning to automatically update your pantry
- Shopping lists with supermarket price comparison
- An AI nutrition coach
KODA is a tool to support healthy eating. It is not a medical device, a substitute for professional medical or dietary advice, or a treatment for any health condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have a health condition.
- You must be 13 years of age or older to create an account
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account
- You may not share your account with others or create accounts for others without their consent
- You may not create more than one account per person
KODA is available through a Premium subscription at £5.99 per month, including a 7-day free trial.
Premium tier includes:
- 3 AI meal plan generations per week
- 1 full personalisation refresh per month
- 100 meal swaps per month
- Full macro dashboard — animated rings, weekly and monthly charts, protein streak
- Unlimited barcode scans, up to 80 receipt scans, and up to 80 label scans per month
- 8-store price comparison and smart shopping lists
- AI nutrition coach — personalised chat with full context of your plan and pantry
- Fasting timer with milestone notifications and all push notifications
- Premium subscriptions are billed monthly at £5.99
- Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled
- You can cancel at any time from Profile → Manage Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-month you retain Premium access until the period ends.
- If a payment fails, access to Premium features may pause until you update your payment method in the Stripe billing portal.
Your Premium subscription begins with a 7-day free trial. A payment card is required to start the trial, but no charge is made for 7 days. Premium continues at £5.99 per month on day 8 unless you cancel before the trial ends.
You agree not to:
- Use KODA for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or replicate KODA or its AI systems
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Use automated tools to abuse the API or scan features
- Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Resell or sublicense access to KODA
KODA's meal plans and coach responses are generated by AI. AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. You are responsible for using your own judgement when following meal plans or acting on coach advice. KODA does not guarantee that AI-generated meal plans are nutritionally complete or appropriate for your specific health needs.
Nutritional information in KODA comes from Open Food Facts, barcode scans, receipt scans, and AI estimates. This data may not always be accurate. KODA is not liable for decisions made based on nutritional data displayed in the app.
Supermarket prices displayed in the shopping list are sourced from third-party data and may not reflect current in-store prices. Prices are indicative only. KODA is not responsible for price discrepancies at the point of purchase.
All content, design, software, and AI systems in KODA are owned by TRYKODA LTD and protected by copyright. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from KODA without our written permission.
Your personal data — your meal plans, pantry, and usage data — belongs to you. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it.
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, TRYKODA LTD is not liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of KODA
- Health outcomes resulting from following AI-generated meal plans
- Loss of data
- Service interruptions or downtime
Our total liability to you in any circumstances is limited to the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We aim to keep KODA available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend or modify the service for maintenance or updates. We will give reasonable notice of planned maintenance where possible.
We may change, add, or remove features from KODA at any time. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes that affect paid features. If we discontinue a feature you rely on, you may cancel your subscription for a pro-rata refund of unused days.
You may close your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. On termination, your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
